“How do I get involved with RAG?”

Well, there are plenty of ways that you can get involved with, and volunteer for, RAG.

1. Come to our events

RAG has such a great programme of events, but none of them would work without people coming along and having fun. So bring your friends to Beerfest, get a team together for Jailbreak or Bogle, come and see a new city on a collection, or live in Vietnam for a while with a few friends. Jailbreak and Bogle have online sign-ups on their websites, and the rest will be advertised by our Facebook page (add Manchester RAG as a friend on Facebook).

2. Volunteer to help us

Loads of our events need a group of great volunteers ready to help us out. For example, events like Beerfest have a massive group of people pulling pints, pouring shots and keeping the whole thing moving and RAG Week has a massive team of students who are involved. To volunteer at events simply click on the link (left) to the Volunteer Portal and register as a volunteer!

3. RAG Raids

If you want to see a different city around the UK and raise money for some brilliant charities, Raids are the way to go. You can sign up for as much or as little as possible. Always wanted to visit Newcastle? Come to our Newcastle collection. Feel really passionate about raising money for cancer charities? Come along to our collections for them. RAG Raids get you out and about with your travel costs are covered, and let you experience a new city with some brilliant people.
