Vietnam

Volunteer Vietnam is our major overseas volunteering project,  in association with Hue Help. Hue Help work in children’s centres across the city to create a space for children to stay active and safe during the long summer months. Our volunteers spend six weeks in Hue and teach basic English, organise craft activities and even teach the children to swim (an important skill in an region prone to flooding).   • Manchester RAG is part of the University of Manchester Students Union, we are responsible for facilitating all charity fundraising by students at universities and colleges Manchester.

    In 2010/11 we helped Manchester students raise £330,000 for charity, and in 2011/12 our target is £500,000.
