Welcome to Manchester RAG
We are a group of fundraisers who raise money for charity based in Manchester. This year is our 125th anniversary so we're going all out to make this year better than any other! There are plenty of ways to get involved, from drinking at our beer and cider festivals (or helping out and getting free entry), blagging your way across the country, walking 55 miles in our nonstop endurance walk, congaing across the millennium bridge with us, shaking a bucket in a city up and down the country, bringing your unwanted clothes (and getting a whole new wardrobe) at our swap shops, jumping out of planes, coming to a social, running round Manchester finding the statue of Abraham Lincoln, diving with sharks...
But if there is something that you want to do that isn't on the list, then let us know, and we'll either organise it for you, or help you organise it.
RAG is really excited this year, as Mark Radcliffe is giving us his support to help us celebrate our anniversary!
Important Information about Fake Rag Mags:
We have been informed of some fake Rag Mag sellers operating in Manchester and the surrounding area.
We have currently do not sell Rag Mags from anywhere other than the Rag office, so please do not buy them as the money from them will not be coming to us, and we can not guarantee that the money will be going to a charity.
If you do see people selling these magazines, or if they come up to you, please tell the police as that's the only way they can be stopped. The non emergency phone number is 0161 872 5050 for Greater Manchester Police.

If you hadn't guessed already, Rag Week is coming. We have loads of things going on in Rag Week, we're zorbing, holding a battle of the bands, collections everyday, giving you the chance to have your mate followed around by a panda, skydiving, film festivals, charity lectures, and of course holding our fantastic cider festival. So come along and see what we've got going on. If you fancy discounted entry or discounted drinks at the events, then you'll just need to buy a Rag Week Wristband from here.
