Run the London Marathon

The Virgin London Marathon is undoubtedly the ultimate proving ground for long distance runners in the UK. This year Manchester RAG are working in partnership with VSO to offer Manchester Students the chance to take part.

In order to take part, we are asking that participants raise a minimum of £2,250 in sponsorship. Do not be disheartened by this figure – we will give you all of the support you need to make the fundraising process as easy as possible!

The money that you raise will go towards VSO’s work in over 40 of the world’s poorest countries where volunteers make a lasting contribution in the fight against poverty.

 

  • Manchester RAG is part of the University of Manchester Students Union, we are responsible for facilitating all charity fundraising by students at universities and colleges Manchester.

    In 2010/11 we helped Manchester students raise £330,000 for charity, and in 2011/12 our target is £500,000.
