Manchester Raise and Give (RAG) is the fundraising arm of the University of Manchester Students’ Union (UMSU) and is made up of students bounded together by the mutual desire to raise money for charity and make a difference in people’s lives. RAG is a student-led group, we always aim to put on events for students, by students. We aim to have something for everyone, whether that’s our famous 55 mile walk (the Bogle), our annual Beer Fest, or even just a Mean Girls themed pub quiz!
RAG primarily raises money for charities in and around the North West of England, but does not say no to anyone – help will always be given by RAG to those who ask for it. In previous years we have raised money for NSPCC, North West Air Ambulance and Kidscan, among many others.
As one of the oldest societies at the university, RAG has had a lively past and we look forward to carrying on that tradition! If you want to find out more about RAG, you can check out our social media pages here, or you can email us using firstname.lastname@example.org. If you’re more of a face-to-face person, you can come speak to us at one of our events or at the RAG office (first floor of the Students’ Union.)
